Missouri's district pairing format for football is keeping hope alive that Berkeley can rally and face off versus Bowling Green in the 2009 state tournament.

Here is the playoff scenario:

MS-B gets in with a win Saturday by 13 or more points AND a Trinity win over John Burroughs by 8 points or more.

If Trinity wins by less than 8 or loses on Friday Oct. 30, MS-B is mathematically eliminated from the 2009 Class 3 playoffs.
